The MR2566 takes one cylindrical core with three stages rolled together: a pre filter skin for lint and hair, a high efficiency layer for fine particles, and a high content activated carbon bed for odours. That is the whole maintenance story of the machine, one part, twisted out and in.
Original is the standard fit for bedrooms and offices. The pet dander version tunes the media for fur and dander load. Both are rated around 2,200 hours; the purifier turns on its filter light at 2,000 hours so the swap never arrives as a surprise. Single packs suit a trial, double packs suit the pace the machine actually eats cores at.
